To prevent the evolution of Kadabra through trade despite the Everstone, you can simply avoid trading Kadabra altogether. Instead, you can catch an Abra in the wild and level it up to a Kadabra and then to an Alakazam without trading. Alternatively, you can use a Pokémon game that allows you to evolve Kadabra through a different method, such as leveling up to a certain level or using an evolution item. By using these methods, you can prevent the evolution of Kadabra through trade and still obtain an Alakazam. **

Remember to communicate with the other player or NPC about your intention to cancel the trade evolution to avoid any confusion. **
